You will be responsible for selling ski, snowboard  and surf apparel and the Hire department working on the shop floor as a Salesperson. You will also be responsible for visual merchandising, end of day procedures, dealing with suppliers, security and stock control.

Ideally the successful candidate will:-
Have practical experience in skiing and/or snowboarding.
Strong customer service skills and proven sales record 
Be open to learning and taking on a challenge
Provide clients with the highest level of customer service
Be flexible and open to new opportunities
Skills in handling difficult customers

Boot Fitter Wanted                         
Full Time Position

We are seeking an individual to work in a fun ski & surf shop as a ski/snowboard boot fitter. The position would entail full time, year round work. There will also be responsibilities in other parts of the shop, such as retail, workshop and hire. While experience in the area of boot-fitting is a plus, it is not essential, as we have a training programe for the right person.

Duties include:
· Fitting of ski & snowboard boots.
· Making adjustments to boots.
· Moulding and grinding of footbeds.
· Working as a sales assistant when not fitting boots.

Candidates will be required to:
· Take pride in their work and be open to new learning.
· Be somewhat technically and mechanically minded.
. Be willing to work in retail and hire areas, as well as the workshop.
· Interact with both staff and customers in a courteous, professional manner.
· Have fun and enjoy themselves in a pleasurable working environment!

Candidates will preferably possess:
· Bootfitting qualifications such as the Masterfit Universtity course or alike.
· A solid knowledge of skiing &/or snowboarding mechanics.
· A knowledge of surfing, body boarding &/or in-line skating.
· Experience in retail situations.

Workshop/Ski Technician Wanted                         
Full Time Seasonal Position
May/June - Sept

We are seeking an individual to work in a fun ski & surf shop as a ski/snowboard technician. There will also be responsibilities in other parts of the shop, such as retail and hire. While knowledge of Wintersteiger or Montana tuning machinery is a plus, it is not essential, as we are willing to train the right person.

Duties include:
· Repairing and tuning skis & snowboards.
· Cleaning & maintaining workshop machinery.
· Mounting and adjusting ski & snowboard bindings.
· Working as a sales assistant when not in the workshop.

Candidates will be required to:
· Take pride in their work and be open to new learning.
· Be somewhat technically and mechanically minded.
· Possess the necessary strength and coordination to operate the machinery.
· Be willing to work in retail and hire areas, as well as the workshop.
· Interact with both staff and customers in a courteous, professional manner.
· Have fun and enjoy themselves in a pleasurable working environment!

Candidates will preferably possess:
· A basic knowledge of skiing &/or snowboarding.
· A knowledge of surfing, body boarding &/or in-line skating.

Ski & Snowboard Rental Dept Attendant                
Full Time Position
June - Sept

We are looking for an keen, energetic and patient person to run our hire operation for winter. The position would entail full time work for the months from June to September. There will also be responsibilities in other parts of the shop, such as retail and the workshop. Candidates must have at least a rudimentry knowledge of skiing or snowboarding (preferably both) and prior hire experience would be a big plus, but not mandatory.

Duties Include:
* Fitting of skis, poles, boots, snowboards, etc.
* Adjusting bindings and setting up of equipment.
* Using a computer system to make bookings for hires.
* Management of inventory.

Candidates are required to:
* Have a patient and kind demenour.
* Solve problems when required.
* Interact with both staff and customers in a courteous, professional manner.
* Have fun and enjoy themselves in a pleasurable working environment!

Candidates will preferably possess:
* A basic knowledge of skiing &/or snowboarding.
* Experience in hire and retail situations.
* A basic knowledge of computers.
