Co-founder Peter Haley has more than 30 years’ experience in professional boot fitting. His knowledge and skill is unsurpassed and is always being passed on to boot fitters that are trained at Bumps, many of whom have furthered their experience with seasonal work in other specialist boot fitting stores in North America, Japan, Europe and the UK. ” You never stop learning new ideas and techniques to solve boot fit issues. You can’t learn it in a book, you have to be trained and work with other boot fitters and fit a lot of boots. This is why we’re committed to continually training new boot fitters” says Peter.  From time to time Bumps employs experienced boot fitters from the USA, Canada or New Zealand. All our boot fitters go through rigorous training such as the Masterfit University, Sidas / Conformable and of course with Peter at the boot bench.
