Pivot bindings have been a mainstay for years. They haven't changed much
in look (appearance that is!), but continue to lead the way in performance.
The Pivot concept delivers precision, performance and protection for passionate,
demanding skiers looking for no-compromise binding performance.
The Pivot bindings feature the most vertical elastic travel available
(25mm) for better shock and vibration absorption. This makes it possible
to set the release value very conservatively and still avoid the risk
of unwanted release.
Double rotation axis, both vertical and horizontal, for exceptional active
protection of skier's joints. The automatic re-centering of the pivot
makes it easier to get into the bindings even in extreme situations, such
as steep slopes, deep powder, etc.
All bindings now feature Full Drive toes, which allow mechanical control
of upward release, binding hole patterns have been reduced in footprint,
to further reduce effects on ski flex (short mounting zone preserves the
skis ability to flex and allows Dynastar's
Autodrive plates to be shorter for a more natural flex).
The Pivot's superior lateral precision (which translates into better edge
grip and more control) comes from it's seven points of contact with the
boot (the most of any binding on the market) and the lateral strength
of the Full Drive toepiece. And the AFC Plus anti friction device ensures
precision carving and increased edge grip, while providing maximum protection.
