Tyrolia
have been making bindings since the start of the century and continue
to be leaders in the world of boot-ski interfaces.
Integrated Binding System
Tyrolia
Safety Features
The
TYROLIA DIAGONAL Toes and Heels follow every movement and release directly
in the direction of the fall. This means less load on knees and ligaments.

DIAGONAL
TOE: Active protection in all directions.
FULL DIAGONAL TOE
-180°-release range, from vertical to horizontal.
-Intelligently-programmed, direct DIAGONAL release.
-Ensured optimum protection during backward twisting falls.

DIAGONAL HEEL
-Active protection in all directions exclusive TYROLIA Technology.
-DIAGONAL release range of 150°.
Cleverly designed DIAGONAL release.
-Ensures optimum protection during twisting falls.
-Exclusive TYROLIA feature.
ABS
System
The ABS system lets the boot laterally glide out of the binding with virtually
no friction - constant release values and safety despite ice-up, dirt
or boot wear.
In case of a fall the boot glides laterally out of the binding with practically
no friction.
Significantly less load on knees and ligaments, especially in forward
twisting falls.
Release-values are not affected by ice-up, dirt or boot wear.
Self-cleaning system with special design.
Best results in independent safety testing.
TRP-Toe
System (TYROLIA 4 PINCER SYSTEM)

4-Roller pincer system
Consistent 180° -release ensured by 4 rollers and glide inserts.
Returns quickly into initial position and ensures exact boot centering.
Retention force increased by 30 % and 30 % less play for direct power
conversion to the edge.
Elasticity absorbs brief, intense impacts, thus peak loads on knees and
ligaments are reduced.
Integrated
Binding Sytems
Head and Tyrolia have worked together to produce the Railflex system,
a smooth, free-flexing integrated system whereby the ski can work as it
was designed to.
RAILFLEX SYSTEM II is the new RAILFLEX generation from TYROLIA. The improved
features characterize the optimized system, which means more fun for the
skier and considerably quicker and easier handling.
Double FREE FLEX, the Boot Center Adjustment, and Drill-free mounting
make this system truly special.

The binding supported by the rails of the RAILFLEX system guarantees a
unique form of pressure control and a new dimension in ski performance.
As can be seen by the above diagram, the Double free flex system allows
both the toe and heel peice to move while the ski is bending, promoting
a more even flexing ski, hence even edge contact and pressure throughout
the turn for unparalled carving.
Boot center adjustment allows quick and easy shifting of boot center on
the integrated system. Three positions adapt to individual preferences.
