"Should
I buy my children skis or snowboard?"
To answer, several factors need to be taken into consideration:
How many days do you ski in a season? Do you have
other, younger children to pass the skis on to? Do
you want the convenience of having your own gear?
Basically the cost of hire for one week and four weekends
would equal the cost of buying skis, bindings and
boots, when taking into account that you can sell
outgrown ski equipment at Bumps Annual Kids Recycled
Snowboard and Ski Gear Sale, usually for up to half
the purchase price. For most regular skiers, the ultimate
answer is "Yes", especially as there are
many hidden benefits of your children having their
own gear, including the time saving and familiarity
of their own equipment. Alternatively our Hire Department
can expertly fit out your children.

Tecnica. Prices range from $139 to $550.
All major manufacturers cater for the young skier,
with a variety of models. Often personal preference
is the deciding factor of which binding brand to buy.
The DIN setting (release setting) for the child is
the main factor when determining the correct model.
We stock Marker, Rossignol, Look, Salomon and Tyrolia
bindings.
