LIFA
Snowskins are innerwear
suitable for all levels of skier or boarder. Snowskins
are designed amongst other things, to alleviate the
affects of altitude when carrying out alpine activities,
particularly skiing.
Snowskins help in keeping
the body hydrated and act like thermals. They keep
your legs warm without overheating. They keep muscles
warm and supple and assist with removing lactic acids
both during skiing and after activity has ceased.

to create gradient compression on the legs. The calf
muscle, which usually acts like a pump for blood and

thermal power and you have a thermal garment that
punches well above it’s weight. It’s also
highly compactable so you can easily take it anywhere,
prepared for whatever the elements throw at you.

if you get wet in polypropylene because it dries so
fast. You can wash it in cold or warm water and it
will be dry within hours.

LIFA:
The Base Layer
LIFA is a
base layer that transports moisture away from the body.
It uses polypropylene yarn which is hydrophobic so,
as well as moving moisture, it maintains a dry layer
next to the skin. To be most efficient, LIFA should
be worn next to the skin as part of the Layering System.
Unlike cotton or wool, polypropylene does not absorb
moisture. Polypropylene is more efficient than other
synthetic fibres at transporting moisture. The result?
You stay drier.
