THE X-BALANCE EFFECT
XBS™ distributes pressure more evenly across the length
of the ski than any other system.
With a normal plate, when a skier is off balance, pressure is
misdirected to either the tip or tail of the ski. However, with
the X-Balance System, the X-Balance effect takes hold, and pressure
is 
redistributed to
keep pressure from tip to tail. This provides the skier more
confidence, control, and ultimately more balance.
The aluminum rails provide a perfect track for the bindings to
glide on, and the design of the system keeps them at a constant
distance. No boot pinching, and perfect system movement let the
ski flex the way the engineer designed it...for perfect performance.
The X-Balance System design allows the binding toe and heel to
float freely and symmetrically as the ski flexes. The end result
is that the skiers boot is always centered over the sweetspot
of the ski - perfect centering obviously equals better balance.
